Read a few previously published Flash Fiction pieces including ‘The Haunted Pan’ which won first prize at the Northern Short Story Festival slam in 2017, ‘Orrery’ which won first prize in Writing on the Wall’s WoWFest 2016 flash fiction competition, and ‘Red Eye Reduction’ which won first prize in the Book Week Scotland 2014 flash fiction competition. Read or listen to a couple of previously published or performed short stories including ‘Minor Modifications’ which was performed at Manchester’s Victoria Baths in 2019 and later published online by The Liminal Residency, and ‘A Lost Lido and an Accidental Time-Slip’ which was read alongside 20x slides for a PechaKucha event in 2020. Read some creative non-fiction pieces of writing including ‘Homeward Bound’ – some overheard dialogue on a train journey, and ‘Gents’ – overheard dialogue in the toilets at Liverpool Central. Read about two ten-minute plays written by Phil Olsen, ‘The Chat Room’ and ‘Fleeing Town Forever’, both of which were performed to sold-out audiences at Lantern Theatre Liverpool in the Baltic Triangle.
